The International Cheese Awards are held at the Nantwich Show and is the most prestigious cheese event in the UK. Held since 1897, the shows continues to grow every year and attracts over 4000 competitive entries from around the world in 283 categories. The top accolade is the award of Supreme Champion, which was won by Long Clawson in 2013 for Smooth Blue.

  • Gold – Modern British Cheese (Smooth Blue) – Judges comment: “Beautiful creamy flavour and texture with balanced gentle blue character. Superb!”
  • Gold – Retailer Class (Cornish Cove with Diablo Chilli)
  • Silver – Two Halves Standard Blue Stilton (Blue Stilton)
  • Silver – Two Halves Mature Blue Stilton (Mature Blue Stilton)
  • Bronze – Two Halves Mature Blue Stilton (Mature Blue Stilton)
  • Bronze – Farmhouse/Traditional Cheese (Aged Leicestershire Red)
  • Bronze – Plain White Stilton (White Stilton)
  • Highly Commended – Best English Cheese (Aged Leicestershire Red)
