  1. Introduction

The new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on the 25th May 2018 and will impact every organisation which holds or processes personal data. Long Clawson Dairy Limited is committed to protecting your personal information and being clear and transparent about what information we collect, and how we will use it.
This Privacy Notice is designed to explain to you how we use personal information you provide to us, when signing up to our keeping in touch page on our website or for the purpose of conducting business with you as a customer or supplier.

  1.  Who is the Data Controller?
    Long Clawson Dairy Ltd is a data controller. As a data controller we are legally required to process your personal information fairly and in a transparent manner.

    Whilst everyone at Clawson is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy, we have a Data Lead that supports myself and our Executive Team, dealing with all aspect of personal data at Long Clawson.   2.  How do you use my information for marketing purposes?
    When you sign up to receive any of our newsletters or marketing communications we will use the information you provide to us, usually your name and email address, to enable us to keep in touch. You may have also left some comments in our comments box that we respond to.
    We will process your personal information for marketing purposes based on your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. If you withdraw your consent, we will stop sending you our information.
  3.  Can I unsubscribe from marketing?
    Yes, if you decide at any point that you no longer want to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe at any time contacting us by email or letter using any of the contact details set out in this notice.
  4.  How long do you keep my information if I opt-in?
    We will generally send you marketing communications until you choose to unsubscribe from receiving them. However, if we have not heard from you for a while or notice that you have not opened our emails in a period of 24 months, we will remove your details from our database.
    There’s nothing stopping you from subscribing again at any time.
  5.  Where does Long Clawson store my personal information?
    All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers situated in the EU.
  6.  Does Long Clawson share my information with anyone?
    The recipients of your personal data are limited exclusively to the people who have a need to know such information to perform their responsibilities. We do not sell your personal information to any third parties.10.    What are my rights under data protection legislation?

  7.  How does this affect other emails I receive from you?
    If you decide not to receive marketing emails from us and you are a customer or supplier to the business, it will not affect email communication which is integral to our working together.
  8. Working with Long Clawson as a customer/supplier

We will keep your data for the purpose of conducting business between Long Clawson and yourselves so that, but not limited to, invoices, statements and pricing updates are sent to the correct person and department. Should you wish us not to keep your data, please provide an alternative solution for the purpose of business as indicated above.

In order for us to be compliant, all of our customers and suppliers need to be compliant, therefore could you please provide details of your GDPR officer/Data Lead, when they have been appointed.
