Tasting notes

With generous flakes of chive and onion, Cotswold has a smooth texture, fresh aroma and lingering taste. It was one of the first blends launched by Clawson in the early 1970s and has remained a firm favourite. It is fantastic served simply in a crusty baguette sandwich, and also makes a versatile cooking ingredient.

Stilton becomes mellower with age, unlike Cheddar which gets stronger with age, so if you’re trying Blue Stilton for the first time its better to buy a more mature variant as it will be milder and less tangy.
