Tikka Paneer

Ingredients
  • 227g Paneer- (1 packet)
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 large red onion
  • Vegetable Oil for frying

Marinade:

  • 150g plain/natural yoghurt
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 tsp tandoori powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin

 

Method

Blend all the marinade ingredients together in a bow. Cover and refrigerate.
Cube the paneer into 10mm cubes and add to the marinade, cover and refrigerate. Leave to marinade for a couple of hours.

Meanwhile prepare all vegetables and set aside.

Gently fry the marinaded paneer in a deep frying pan and once golden remove from the heat and keep warm.

Add the vegetables to the frying pan and cook for 5-10 mins until the vegetables are soft and golden brown.

Arrange vegetables on a plate and top with the tikka paneer.

Serve warm with naan breads
